NBC has released a new version of their iPad app that allows users to watch full episodes of their favorite NBC TV shows for free while on the go.
Prior to the update, iPad users could only watch small clips, but not full episodes.

As one would expect, the TV networks are not happy about this free streaming service and has filed a lawsuit against FilmOn.
FilmOn is backed by billionaire Alki David, who believes he is legally operating within existing US copyright law and plans to spend heavily to win his legal battle with the networks.

Users also need a companion accessory called 3DeeSlide, which is a thin screen called 3DeeSlide that slides on to their iPhone or iPod Touch to watch the 3D content without wearing those funny 3D glasses.
We don't expect this to sweep the nation overnight. For one thing, it looks like the library of content will be fairly sparse to begin with. And the 3D effect isn't as compelling as it is on a larger screen using glasses.
