Hacker video shows how to thwart Apples Touch ID

One of the hackers who recently tricked Apple ‘s fingerprint sensor now has a video out showing just how he does it.

Apple reportedly preps in-store demo of iPhone 5S Touch ID

Apple customers curious about the new fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S will be able to check one out in the flesh, according to 9to5Mac.

Citing information from unspecified sources, the blog site said Monday that a special demo application will be available on iPhone 5S floor models starting September 20.

The new iPhone model comes with a capacitive home button that can read your fingerprint, Apple Vice President of Marketing Phil Schiller announced Tuesday at the company’s iPhone event at its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.
