After several months of rumors and speculations, Apple ‘s new iPhone 4S will finally be available tomorrow.
Folks at iFixit, the teardown experts are at it again, they’re currently in the process of doing what every geek would love to do i.e. to crack open Apple ‘s new iPhone to see what’s inside.

White iPhone 4 Teardown Reveals Modified Camera Lens And Proximity Sensor

after a long wait of almost 10 months.
indicates that Apple has changed the camera lens and proximity sensor on the white iPhone 4.
[..] the sensor remains the same, but the “magnitude of the incident light” between the black and white iPhone 4 models is a different size.
Photo comparisons of the two devices seem to indicate that the rear-facing camera lens on the white iPhone 4 has been set farther back than its black counterpart.

iFixit have discovered the following things from the teardown, which we found interesting:
There are a total of THIRTY ONE magnets within the iPad 2 and Smart Cover: 10 magnets in the iPad 2, and a whopping 21 magnets inside the Smart Cover. They’re the reason why the cover works so well with the iPad 2.
Sadly, none of the 31 magnets inside the devices had any special properties. (more…)

Folks at iFixit, the teardown experts are at it again, they’ve disassembled
, which has revealed some interesting details about the internals of iPad 2 such as RAM etc.
Apple 1GHz A5 dual-core Processor with a 200MHz bus and 512 MB of RAM.
iPad 2 comes with a 3.8V, 25 watt-hour unit, which is just slightly more than the 24.8 watt-hour unit used in iPad 1.
