Google Sync for iOS allows users to sync Gmail, Contacts and Calendar to iPhone and iPad over-the-air using push technology.
These new features are available for both Gmail and Google Apps email accounts.

Wi-Fi Sync is developed by Greg Hughes, a student at University of Birmingham. Following the successful launch of his app in May, Hughes has now announced that the application will receive a major update in December. The new update will enable users to remotely sync their iPhone with iTunes over a cellular data connection. According to the release notes, iTunes 9.1 includes several new features and improvements such as:
Sync with iPad to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on the go
Rename, rearrange, or remove Genius Mixes

The app itself automatically chooses which facebook user, not friend, is synced to each contact in your iPhone contact list. The reason I say “facebook user” and not “facebook friend” is because it will sync random facebook users to iPhone contacts with the same name; even if you aren't friends with said random facebook user. Intel comments on iPhone sync glitch

Intel on Monday said it is investigating a glitch that prevents an Apple iPhone from synching with certain PCs that use a new Intel chipset.
