The reason for Apple 's addition of the new category is unknown, although it seems possible that the company may have reconsidered its decision to remove the “overtly sexual” applications in the face of backlash from developers and users and has decided to create a dedicated category in an attempt to find a middle ground in the controversy. The app in question is SuperAgent, developed by an Irish firm called Factory Six. The lead agent character in the game is named ”

The reviews and ratings scam comes to light after one of the readers of the iPhoneography blog revealed that a relatively less popular iPhone app, '

Apple Removes C64 – Commodore 64 Emulator for iPhone

Unfortunately Apple this night pulled the C64 App from the App Store. We had agreed with Apple to remove basic from the application, but as we believed it would be possible to convince Apple to let it in later on, we left it in the app to be activated remotely by us when we had “go” from Apple .
