Analyst Claims 50% Chance Of A Free In-Store Fix For iPhone 4 Reception Problems

In a note issued to clients on Thursday, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster has deliberated upon the several possible solutions that Apple could announce during the press conference. While Munster has confided that he does not have any insider information in this regard, he has nevertheless narrowed down the three most likely alternatives.

Consumer Reports Can’t Recommend iPhone 4 Due To Reception Problems

There's no reason, at least yet, to forgo buying an iPhone 4 over its reception concerns. And even if those do materialize, Apple 's Steve Jobs helpfully reminds new iPhone buyers that “you can return your undamaged iPhone to any Apple Retail Store or the online Apple Store within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.”

, iPhone users are observing a strange issue after upgrading to iPhone OS 3.1. They are reporting that their iPhone randomly shuts down.

Ok, I updated lastnight without a hitch. But now I get random complete shut downs of the phone. It has happened twice. In both instances the phone has come back after doing a hard reboot. Anyone else having this problem?

Apple Claims Exploding iPhones Due to External Force; Denies Battery Problems

reported about a case where a 15 year-old Belgian had claimed that his iPhone exploded.
Apple claims that based on their initial investigation; the incidents are not due to any battery problems, but have instead been caused by exerting excessive force on the iPhones' screens.
