Orange UK Reveals Subsidized iPad Pricing; Starts At £199

Earlier in the week, Orange UK had announced that they will be offering Apple ‘s iPad Wi +3G model for subsidized rates for customers willing to commit to a contract for the data plan.
In a short press release announcing the subsidized iPad pricing, Orange said:

O2 has had a very successful partnership with Apple over the past two years with the carrier having reached the million milestone in February of this year. However, as in the other parts of the world, the 3G network of O2 has also been significantly affected due to high data consumption by
users.

Orange Announces Pricing Plans For November 10 UK iPhone Launch

There are three standard pricing plans on offer. The 'Pay Monthly' plan starts at a minimum of £30. Customers get the
handset for free if they choose to go for one of the £45 and upward plans and the 3G handset for free from the £30 plan. The contract period in both the cases are set at two years. Orange has also announced a “traveller” offer for additional roaming call and data allowance at £125 per month.

While the exact date for the launch is not announced, we do know that this is going to be “later this year”. O2 has had a fruitful partnership. Till the Febrary of this year, over a million handsets were sold and the launch of
