and iPod touch has been released.
Last week, Intelliborn had given a sneak peak of IntelliScreenX, which adds tons of features to
so that you can do a lot more with it.
As we had noted earlier, here’s a list of features:
Ability to access Notification Center from the lock screen.
IntelliScreenX will also allow you to access the third party custom widgets directly from the lock screen.
It will bring QuickSettings to the Notification Center, which will allow you to access AirPlane mode and Rotation lock, System information and adjust brightness from anywhere.
Ability to collapse sections, so that you can effectively use the available real estate on Notification Center.
IntelliScreenX also integrates Twitter, Facebook, Extended Mail, Calendar and RSS feed into iOS 5 Notification Center.
You will be able to access the full text of the email directly within Notification Center. You can also mark the email as read or unread or delete them.
You will also be able to see Calendar items for as many days as you want and won’t be restricted to just x items.
You will also be access Facebook news feed or Twitter timeline from anywhere and also like or tweet directly from the Notification Center.
In case of RSS feed, Intelliborn has integrated the Reader functionality so that you can read the latest news item directly from the Notification Center.
Enter the following URL – http://www.intelliborn.com/isxbeta and tap on the
After the repository is successfully installed, tap on the
button.
That’s it, you should be all set to test IntelliScreenX.
Please note IntelliScreenX is currently compatible with only iPhone and iPod touch running on iOS 5.
As always, let us know what you think of IntelliScreenX in the comments section below.

.
But the list would be incomplete without a custom widget to enable LED Flash that turns your iPhone into a flashlight. So we were not surprised to find WeeFlashlight on Cydia, which allows you to enable or disable LED Flash via iOS 5 Notification center.
Use your iPhone as a flashlight and turn it ON or OFF right from the Notification Center. More easy then any other torch app from the AppStore. (This tweak only works for devices, which have a camera flash build inside)
After installing the custom widget, you should see the status of the LED Flash in the Notification Center, by tapping on
you can enable or disable the LED Flash. Since it is available in the Notification Center, you can now access it by just swiping on the status bar from any application.
like FlashLock that allow you to enable or disable LED Flash right from the Lock screen. But now that iOS 5 allows you to quickly access the Camera from the lock screen, WeeFlashlight seems like a good alternative.
in the future when it is jailbroken).
As always, let us know what you think of WeeFlashlight custom widget in the comments.

. SBSettings is one of our favorite
, which offers a faster way to access iPhone Settings from any app without going through the hassle of exiting the app and launching the Settings app.
Developers can also create custom toggles for SBSettings that can be installed from Cydia, which can then be quickly accessed by users via SBSettings.
Your choice of using the old style window or the notification center. Or both.
You choose which toggles to appear in notification and window sections.
Current sbsettings toggles should be supported. Current themes should work in notification area as well.
You get to choose what will show up in notification section. More button row, no more button row, the extra text, no extra text, the dock, the toggles, no toggles at all, or any combination of. The notification area is a limited screen resources so it’s up to you to decide how you want it used.
.
If you want to test SBSettings for iOS 5, you need to add http://thebigboss.org/ios5beta to your repository list in Cydia.
As always, let us know what you think of the new version integrated with Notification Center.

that was seeded to developers of iOS developer program late last week.
We’ve already seen Apple enabling Wi-Fi sync feature for Mac users, tweaking the
, that hasn’t gone down too well with our readers,
.
Apple has made a small change in iOS 5′s Notification Center. It now shows the upcoming Calendar events 24 hours in advance, which can be accessed with a swipe down on the status bar, so that you can easily check out your appointments.
You can disable calendar events from showing up in the Notification Center and also control the number of events to be displayed via Settings. However, there is currently no way to adjust how far in advance you can see your events.
It’s another minor but useful change in upcoming iOS 5, which will be released later this fall.
What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

If you were disappointed that the widgets were limited only to weather and stocks, then we have some good news. Will Homer – a UK based iOS developer has figured out a way to hack iOS 5 to create widgets for Notification Center.
As an example, Homer has created a test widget, which says “Hello World”. He explains:
Its pretty easy to understand, you create a class that implements the BBWeeAppController protocol. The only required function you must have is ‘- (UIView *)view’ in which you must return the view that you want to appear. There are also other methods in the protocol for launching URLs when tapped and for rotation detection, view height, etc.
The i is set by settings the ‘AppBundleID’ key in the Info.plist file to an app id. The icon will then be the icon for that app (e.g. Setting ‘AppBundleID’ to ‘com.apple .mobilesafari’ will make your widget have the Safari icon). The name is set in the ‘InfoPlist.strings’ file.
that Apple would introduce dynamic home screen icons in iOS 5, which would display real-time information such as the current weather conditions rather than a fixed icon for the weather app. But the integration of widgets with the Notification screen that can be accessed from any app by swiping down on the status bar is also quite neat. By taking this approach, Apple has avoided unnecessary consumption of battery life and also allows users to access the information from any application with a single swipe. Custom widgets from the jailbreak community will make this feature even better. We’ve already seen
.
Are you looking forward to custom widgets in iOS 5? Let us know what you think in the comments.
