Nokia and Microsoft have just announced a strategic partnership, where Nokia plans to ditch its Symbian platform and instead adopt Windows Phone as its

Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop and Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer revealed the news in an open letter.

Nokia Files Four New Lawsuits Against Apple In Europe

In the latest episode of the continuing saga of the long drawn legal battles between Nokia and Apple , the former has sued Apple in Europe for infringing upon 13 of its patents. The suits have been filed in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands and each one of them relate to 13 different patents that Nokia says Apple has infringed upon and have been used in many of its popular products.

At the press conference, Steve Jobs explained that they’ve got to the heart of the problem, and that is smartphone have weak spots, which was a challenge not just for Apple but also for the entire mobile industry.

Apple Sues Nokia Again – Seeks Ban On Import Of Nokia Phones

Apple has now responded. In a counter-suit filed with the ITC, Apple claims patent violations by the Finland based company and has sought ITC's help in banning the import of their patent-infringing devices to the US market.
This is the second time in as many months when Apple has filed a lawsuit against Nokia. In December last year,
