iTunes is 10 years old, and it often feels like it.

Apple has certainly gone through some efforts to make iTunes look and feel different, but it’s the load that iTunes bears that’s the real problem. Once upon a time, iTunes was made to work with an iPod . The setup was simple; the software was good. It held MP3s and acted as the bridge.

Apple needs a low-cost iPhone, says analyst

Apple needs to launch a low-cost iPhone to boost earnings and market share, says BTIG analyst Walter Piecyk.

In an investors note out today, Piecyk said he raised his opinion on Apple stock to “buy” from “neutral” based partly on the assumption that a low-cost iPhone will launch before the year is over.

Your iPhone could one day switch to vibrate mode, adjust its own volume, and wake from sleep mode without you lifting a finger.

Three weeks into using the iPhone 5, there’s an awful lot I like: the screen, the weight, the speed, and even features like turn-by-turn navigation, which has become my lifeline while moving out to the suburbs with a car. Why a longer iPhone 5 screen needs to happen

For months, we’ve heard talk of an iPhone 5 with a longer screen. The latest stories around the Internet suggest not only that this is a likely reality, but that iOS 6 supports this new resolution: 640×1,136 pixels, to be exact.
