According to sources speaking with TechCrunch columnist MG Seigler, Google has indeed been working on, and even submitted, a native app for Gmail. And oh yeah, it’s pretty cool.

Despite Google’s pretty great UI for Web-based Gmail on iOS, the native app has been a unicorn of sorts in the iOS community since the announcement that third-party apps could be written for the iPhone and subsequently the (more…)

Native Gmail App Coming Soon?

MG Siegler reports that Google is preparing to finally launch a native application for Gmail. This is great news as even though the Gmail web app is one of the best web apps, we’ve been waiting for Google to launch a native Gmail app.
According to Siegler, the native Gmail app will include features such as Push Notification, Priority Inbox and one-click starring of messages and may also come with contact icons, better threading, and deep searching functionality.

gMusic: Unofficial Native Google Music Player For iPhone Available In App Store

Back in May, Google launched its music streaming service called

Then in September, it followed it up by releasing an
for its music service, whereas Google Music users were hoping for a mobile app.
The goods news is that a native app for Google’s Music service is finally available in the App Store but it’s not from Google. The name of the native app for Google Music is called gMusic developed by Interactive Innovative Solutions LLC.

Financial Times Claims Web App More Popular Than Native iOS App

Since all In-App Subscriptions go through Apple , it meant that publishers wouldn’t get all the information about subscribers such as demographic information used by magazines and newspapers to sell advertising. This pinched
