Dolphin gets new look, better sync and battery life

Updates to Dolphin HD for iOS and Android bring notable improvements to the browser on both platforms. Released yesterday, the overhaul of the iOS version’s look makes it much more usable, while the Android edition keeps the feature-rich app running in ship-shape.

iPhone 4S tops carrier sales, but look out for Samsung

The iPhone 4S was the top selling smartphone at all three of its U.S. carriers last month, but Samsung kept nipping at Apple ‘s heels, according to investment firm Canaccord Genuity.

All three models of the iPhones 4S (16GB, 32GB, and 64GB) grabbed strong sales and a higher market share in the U.S. last month, with a little help from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But so did Samsung’s Galaxy S II.

iCloud.com entered its beta phase a couple of days back, and along with it many of Apple ‘s standalone services like MobileMe and iWork.com have now been merged under the iCloud umbrella. Along with the
, Apple also released iWork for iOS apps to developers.
