AT&T Drops Lawsuit Against Verizon Over Their “Misleading” Ad Campaign

The lawsuit filed by AT&T has attracted a lot of attention and debate. While the general consensus has been that the ads do portray the ground realities, neutral observers including the Federal Court judge saw merit in AT&T’s claim that the ads were misleading the viewers into thinking that AT&T did not have data and voice coverage outside their 3G network.

Shooting down AT&T's remark that the ads were misleading the customers, Verizon has said that its ads only portray the groud realities and AT&T was suing Verizon because truth hurts. In its filing, Verizon says:
Requesting the courts to reject AT&T's request to issue a stay, Verizon further says:
“AT&T may not like the message that the ads send, but this Court should reject its efforts to silence the messenger”

Apple, AT&T face yet another iPhone MMS lawsuit

For at least the third time this month, Apple and AT&T are being sued by a consumer complaining of being duped into believing that multimedia messaging, or MMS, was already available on the iPhone .
