Lala is a music service that lets users upload all their MP3 collection on to their online account to access them from anywhere. Users can also purchase new music for 10 cents a song. TechCrunch writes that the app shall work pretty similar to the native iPod app on the iPhone . However, one major difference between the two is that Lala's music streams entirely from the cloud. Apple ’s fourth-quarter profits rose more than 46 percent to 1.67 billion, or $1.82 per diluted share on revenues of $9.87 billion as compared to net quarterly profit of $1.14 billion, or $1.26 per diluted share on revenues of $7.9 billion, in the year-ago quarter.
For the full year, Apple ’s revenues grew by 12 percent and net income grew by 18 percent.
