Apple ‘s line of iOS portables are in the lead for products desired by kids ages 6 to 12 in the U.S. this holiday season, a new study from Nielsen has found.

As TechCrunch notes, the reason behind this jump could be because iPod Touch makes for a better Christmas gift than an iPhone and hence it is likely that it was a more popular gift to teenagers and pre-teens this year.
