Apple sneaks in some very subtle, yet incredibly useful features in iOS from time to time. One such feature comes bundled with the split keyboard for the

If you see the split keyboard, you’ll notice that the inner extremes of both the keyboard parts have some extra space left.
Turns out, this empty space actually houses extra keys according to the standard QWERTY layout, to play well with the typing practices of all users.

reports that developers of iPhone app QuasiDisk have sneaked in the tethering feature in the latest update.
While the description of the iPhone app in the App Store does not mention the tethering feature and claims to be just a simple file manager and file viewer, the YouTube video as you can see below shows how to tether your laptop to the iPhone ‘s 3G data connection to surf on the web using QuasiDisk’s hidden tethering feature.

It looks like Apple was also planning to add the “Panorama” mode in iOS 5 as an iOS developer with Twitter handle @conradev has figured out a way to enable this hidden feature.

A hack to iOS 5 conjures up a hidden keyboard autocorrect bar.

Apple iOS 5 users can now hack into a hidden autocorrect keyboard bar courtesy of a few steps revealed by the folks at 9to5Mac.

Facebook surprised us by releasing a standalone messaging app for the iPhone yesterday.
