Google Chrome For iOS Isn’t Ruled Out

In case you haven’t heard, Google just launched the Chrome browser for Android. It is free, in beta and available for all Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) devices.
Since Chrome has made the move to mobile devices, MG Siegler wonders about a similar version for iOS.
When he asked Google SVP from Chrome, Sundar Pichai, about Chrome for iOS, his reply was:
“It’s a tough question for us.”

Google Briefly Experiments With QR Code-Based Login For Gmail Using Smartphone

Couple of days back, Google briefly experimented with an interesting login system that allowed users to log into their Google account from a public terminal using a smartphone.
This meant that users didn’t have to enter the password on the public terminal, which can be compromised. It could also be used when you’re on a public or non-trusted Wi-Fi network.

Google has released a new version of Gmail app for iPhone , iPad and iPod touch.
The latest version of the app includes features such as ability to set a custom signature for your mobile messages, a vacation responder, improved labels with support for nested labels and introduced a new feature that is exclusively available in the Gmail app called Scribbles.

Google gobbles up restaurant recommendation app Alfred

Among the crowded list of mobile applications, Google has added another to its portfolio, acquiring local recommendation app maker Clever Sense.
