API Glitch Breaks Facebook App For Smartphone Users

The primary cause of the issue was not with the app itself, but with a backend platform API that the app on iPhone and other smartphones use. Intel comments on iPhone sync glitch

Intel on Monday said it is investigating a glitch that prevents an Apple iPhone from synching with certain PCs that use a new Intel chipset.
