In iTunes, right click on the song you are going to make into a ringer and select “Get Info.”
Go to the options tab and go down to the “Start Time” and “Stop Time” check boxes. Check both boxes and input the time you want your ringtone to start/stop (it should not be more than 30 seconds). Click OK when you’re done.

At the press conference, Steve Jobs showed videos of other competing smartphones such as BlackBerry Bold 9700, HTC Droid Eris and Samsung’s Omnia 2 to show that the signal bar drops are seen in other smartphones as well.
