Apple to Unveil iPad 3 in First Week of March

has just reported that Apple will be holding an event in the first week of March to release the highly anticipated next generation iPad.
Sources say the company has chosen the first week in March to debut the successor to the iPad 2, and will do so at one of its trademark special events. The event will be held in San Francisco, presumably at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Apple ’s preferred location for big announcements like these.

iOS Web Traffic Overtakes Mac OS X For The First Time

have been witnessing extra ordinary growth over the past couple of years. Sales of
devices, reported every quarter, increasingly dwarf
sales, and given that it isn’t really surprising that iOS devices surpassed OS X in U.S. web traffic share.
As per analytics firm Chitika Insight’s newly released report, iOS devices accomplished this feat, this month with 8.15 percent of all web traffic as compared to the Mac’s 7.96 percent share.

Looks like Google borked its first iPhone Gmail app

Hours after launching the hotly anticipated Gmail for iPhone app (and for all iOS devices), Google pulled the broken app from the Apple App store and apologized on Twitter.

“The iOS app we launched today contained a bug with notifications,” the tweet reads. “We have pulled the app to fix the problem. Sorry we messed up.”
