A Qualcomm conference call Wednesday, according to Reuters, brought Qualcomm’s supply constraint issues to light. CEO Paul Jacobs, addressing analysts on the call, stated, “At this stage we cannot secure enough supply to meet the increasing demand we are experiencing.”

Apparently, the translucent glass case out of which the phone is made allows light to seep in and ruins the picture talking ability of the phone. This is a non issue on the black version – because it doesnt allow external light to leak in. However, on a white iPhone 4 this is creating considerable problems for Apple .
