. With the launch of the iPhone 4S today, AT&T’s servers have been overloaded causing many unhappy users to go home with a phone that doesn’t work.
With the worldwide release of the iPhone 4S earlier today, Apple stores and carrier stores everywhere have been busy during this peak period of activations. This proved to be a problem for AT&T, as evidenced by the numerous Twitter complaints, comments, and blog posts around the web.

Apple will win customers away from 4G Android phones by offering the iPhone 4S at a lower cost but still managing to rake in hefty profit margins.

reports that according to some of their readers, AT&T is adding the tethering plan to the current data plan (including grandfathered unlimited data plan) without their consent.

Call it fanboyism, call it trust in Apple or just call it gadget lust. 35 percent of nearly 3000 participants in a survey conducted by

AT&T’s Randall Stephenson said that acquiring T-Mobile will boost network capacity and improve service for devices such as iPhone .
, we had also mentioned that the acquisition should help in AT&T and T-Mobile to improve the voice quality thanks to the increased cell tower density and broader network infrastructure.

AT&T has just announced that it will be acquiring T-Mobile USA from Germany’s Deutsche Telekom for $39 billion in stock and cash.
(indirectly) sometime in the future, which has been offered exclusively by AT&T since the launch of the iPhone and is also offered by Verizon from February 2011.
