to finally fix an annoying bug that caused incorrect comments to show up on some photos.

Gowalla has developed one of most brilliantly designed iPhone apps and though the future of the Gowalla app isn’t clear at this point, it is being speculated that Facebook acquired Gowalla for its design and engineering talent, so let hope it means we will see better and less bug free iPhone and iPad apps (more…)

Phil Schiller Comments On Ban Of iPhone Apps With Sexual Content – Attributes It To Complaints From Women And Parents

, Phil Schiller, head of worldwide product marketing at Apple acknowledged the company's recent drive against apps with sexual content and attributed it to numerous complaints that his company received from users. Schiller said:
“It came to the point where we were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see.”

Intel comments on iPhone sync glitch

Intel on Monday said it is investigating a glitch that prevents an Apple iPhone from synching with certain PCs that use a new Intel chipset.

“Our leading theory is a BIOS or system configuration issue, but we are still investigating,” Intel said Monday. The BIOS, or basic input/output system, is the initial code that runs when a PC is powered on. The BIOS identifies and initializes system devices such as the chipset, graphics (more…)
