According to Reuters, Apple is getting ready to launch its cloud-based music service or digital music locker, which will allow users to upload their music to Apple ’s servers so that they can access them from various devices.
Reuters reports that Apple has “completed work” on the rumored cloud-based service and is set to launch it ahead of Google.

We had heard some rumors that Amazon was planning to release its own digital locker but it surprised us by launching cloud-based services and probably shocked competitors like Apple and Google, who are also rumored to be working on launching similar cloud-based services.

mSpot, the cloud based music streaming service has been around for quite some time now. The service, which was released back in June 2010 allows users to store their music online and listen to it anywhere, anytime including on their mobile devices.
