Singapore operator M1 has made its non-camera iPhone official. This comes a week after we first discovered the product pages for the devices on the company’s Web site, which were most likely put online prematurely and subsequently pulled.

reports that according to their sources, Apple will upgrade the front and back facing camera in iPad 3. They also claim that iPad 3 will be slightly thicker than iPad 2 (approximately 1 mm thicker) to support Retina Display and may not be radically redesigned as some rumors have suggested.

Apple filed a patent that describes how cameras can be used to complete digital “handshakes” in a number of ways, simplifying the way data can be shared between devices.

According to a keen eye from MacRumors, the iPhone 4S, in just over a month after its release, has become the second most popular camera phone on Flickr, trailing only the iPhone 4.
