alleging that the Taiwan based handset manufacturer has infringed on nearly 20 of Apple ‘s proprietary inventions relating to the iPhone ‘s UI, architecture and hardware.
Apple had also filed a second lawsuit in July, claiming infringement of 5 more patents.

Apple Vs Samsung: Australian Court Bans Samsung From Selling Galaxy Tab 10.1

Dutch Court Bans The Sale Of Samsung Galaxy Smartphones In Europe

A Dutch court has found Samsung guilty of infringing an Apple patent relating to photo management, and ordered a Europe wide ban on the sale of Samsung Galaxy smartphones from October 13th. The Galaxy Tab, Samsung’s
rival, has not been named in the injunction and its sales would remain unaffected in this region.

Apple Responds On iTunes Account Fraud; Bans Developer From App Store

Some of our readers had also reported that their account were hacked and used to buy iPhone apps from the App Store.

The developer Thuat Nguyen and his apps were removed from the App Store for violating the developer Program License Agreement, including fraudulent purchase patterns.
Developers do not receive any iTunes confidential customer data when an app is downloaded.

Apple Bans Wi-Fi Stumbler iPhone Apps – Blames Use Of Private APIs

The list of banned iPhone apps include popular applications such as WiFi-Where, WiFiFoFum and yFy Network Finder. In their message to the iPhone app developers, the iPhone app review staff have noted that the ban on iPhone apps is due to their use of private APIs to access wireless information. While Apple has not explicitly spelt out the private API in question, it is being speculated to be iPhone ‘s built-in 802.11 radio.
