Adobe renames Carousel to Revel, adds auto-import

Adobe Carousel, the lightweight app for Macs, iPhones, and iPads that lets people edit photos and share them with contacts, has been renamed Adobe Revel.

Adobe announced the change today on its Photoshop blog, hinting that the new name better represents broader plans the company has in store:

Need to read PDFs on the go? Adobe announced the availability today of Adobe Reader for iPhone , iPad, and iPod Touch.

When you search for a word, Adobe Reader highlights it in the document. Hitting the arrows moves on to the next usage.

Adobe has finally released a PDF reader for iPhone , iPad and iPod touch. There are a number of
available in the App Store like GoodReader that allow users to open PDF files, which was quite ironic when you consider that Adobe had created the digital document standard in the early 90′s.

Adobe Releases CreatePDF For iPhone, iPad Or iPod Touch

As the name suggests, allows users to convert documents, photos etc. into PDF files right on their iOS device. Adobe claims that they’re using the same technology used in Adobe Acrobat.
