Flicker users will find two new enhancements in the latest version of the iOS app.

Released on Wednesday, Flickr 2.3 for iOS offers one new feature for all iOS users. Using the image editor, you can tell the app to automatically straighten a photo you’ve snapped. Don’t like the angle the app has chosen? You can modify it manually through an adjustment tool.

Those of you running iOS 7 also can flip a switch so your photos are uploaded automatically to your Flickr account. Turn on the Auto Upload option in the Settings screen, and every photo stored in your Camera Roll goes on a trip to Flickr. Your uploaded photos are marked as private until you choose to share them.

One improvement still missing in action is a dedicated iPad app. The current version is compatible with the iPhone , iPad, and iPod Touch. But on the iPad, the app runs in the larger-scale pixelated mode, a less than ideal experience.
