More Than One-Tenth of Mobile Phone Users In The U.S. Are Using An iPhone

‘s latest report has revealed that Apple had surpassed 10% share in the US mobile phone market in the last quarter, which means one in every ten mobile phone users in the US are using an iPhone now.
comScore took a look at the three month period ending in September. Apple ‘s OEM market share has gone up to 10.2% from 8.9% at the end of June.
Overall, this is a 1.3% gain in market share in only three months. Samsung showed no change, and the other OEMs actually lost some of their subscriber base.
Focusing on various smartphone platforms and their usages,
nabbed 27.4% of the smartphone subscriber base. This is a 0.8% increase from June.
As this report reflected on changes up through September, it does not reflect any changes from the
launch in mid-October. It will be interesting to see Apple ‘s growth by the end of the year.
