JailbreakMe 3.0: Comex Fixes ‘Cydia Disappears’ Issue

However, some of our readers reported that they were not able to successfully jailbreak and install
on their iOS device. They complained that they briefly noticed Cydia being installed on the home screen and then it just disappeared.
I think I fixed the “Cydia disappears” issue, if anyone wants to try again.
So if you hit this issue and were not able to successfully jailbreak your iOS device then you can try again.
It is always a good idea to take a backup of your iOS device before you hack it, refer to

JailbreakMe 3.0 supports the following iOS devices and firmware, so please ensure your iOS device is running the supported iOS firmwares (Settings -> General -> About -> Version):
iPad1: 4.3 through 4.3.3
iPad2: 4.3.3
iPhone 3GS: 4.3 through 4.3.3
iPhone 4: 4.3 through 4.3.3
iPhone 4-CDMA: 4.2.6 through 4.2.8
iPod touch 3g: 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3
iPod touch 4g: 4.3 through 4.3.3
Please note that JailbreakMe does not hactivate your iPhone , so your iPhone should be activated via iTunes first.
JailbreakMe does not unlock your iPhone . So iPhone unlockers are advised to use tools like

on your iPhone , iPod Touch or iPad’s Mobile Safari browser and tap on the
button, this should jailbreak your iOS device and install Cydia (as seen in the screnshot below) just like installing an iOS app from the App Store. It is as easy as that.
