FutureTap, developers of
– Where To? have reported that they’ve received the first
crash report for their app yesterday, indicating that not surprisingly Apple has started testing iOS 5 with third party
.
that starts on June 6th.
Just received the first iOS 5.0 crash report. MKUserLocationBreadCrumb sounds interesting.
who were the first to report the news point out that MKUserLocationBreadCrumb is related to mapping and location functions, a primary component of FutureTap’s Where To? application (
), which is popular points of interest finder app.
FutureTap has also sent 9 to 5 Mac screenshot, which provides more information of the iOS 5 hits. It looks like 4 of them were from AT&T’s headquarters while one came from Apple ’s headquarter, indicating that not just Apple but AT&T is also testing the next major iOS software update:
The AT&T-based device(s) is the iPhone 4 (iPhone 3,1) and the hit from Apple HQ comes from a first-generation iPad. We don’t learn much, but at least we now know that iOS 5 will seemingly not require the dual-core A5 processor in the next iPhone and iPad 2.
We can’t wait to find out the new features and improvements in iOS 5. How about you? What’s on your wish list?
