Apple To Unveil iOS 5 On June 6th At WWDC 2011

Apple has announced that the WorldWide Developer Conference 2011 will be held from June 6th to June 10th at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco.
As rumored, Apple has revealed that it will unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS X at the event.
Philip Schiller, Apple ’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing announced:
At this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS. If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss.
, Apple has provided a sneak peak of the next generation of iOS in Spring and released it to users in June along with the launch of the

So based on today’s announcement, it looks like
and will be released to users this fall. It seems unlikely that Apple will also release iOS 5 to users at the event.
We’re a little disappointed that iOS 5 will be released in fall instead of this summer but we can’t wait to find out about the new features and improvements in the next generation iOS. We’ve heard that iOS 5 will be heavily built around
the cloud.
