Apple May Not Unveil iPhone 5 At WWDC 2011?

Apple closed the door this morning on any speculation that it would announce new hardware at its Worldwide Developers conference saying it would focus on iOS and Mac OS.
Apple ‘s apparent focus on software in its WWDC announcement backs up what my own sources are saying about the annual conference. That is, expect a software show in 2011, not a hardware event.
Meanwhile, Macotakara – a Japanese blog claims that Apple may not launch the fifth generation iPhone before the end of Apple ‘s fiscal 2011, which occurs in late September 2011. It also goes on to add that iPhone 5 will come with an aluminum back and a redesigned antenna.
Since the launch of the iPhone in 2007, Apple has always unveiled their next generation iPhone at the WWDC keynote address, followed by the launch in the next few weeks, so it will be quite surprising if Apple does not follow its annual product cycle for the iPhone this year.
