Apple Confirms UK iPad 2 Launch Still On March 25th

) and the rumored production issues in Japan due to the earthquake, it was speculated that Apple may delay the international launch of iPad 2, which is expected to be on March 25th.
Apple ’s Czech Republic website also briefly mentioned that iPad 2 launch was on April 25th instead of March 25th, adding further fuel to the speculation that the international launch will get delayed.
However, since then Apple ’s Czech Republic website has been updated to confirm that the launch is on March 25th.
TechRadar also reports that Apple has informed them that iPad 2 will be available on March 25th at least in UK.
Many suspected that the launch of the skinny new Apple tablet would be pushed back due to stock demand in the US – a similar thing happened with the launch of the first iPad last year.
However, Apple told us, “Everything that is on the website still holds true; the website says 25 March and that’s when it’ll be.”
Apple had announced that iPad 2 will be available on March 25th in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. The launch in Japan has been delayed indefinitely due to the earthquake.
Apple and its partners still haven’t confirmed at what time iPad 2 will be available online and in the retail stores on March 25th.
