Apple Working on iTunes Music Subscription Service

According to the report, iTunes' boss Eddy Cue has been in serious discussions with various music labels regarding the subscription plans that would be offered to consumers. One source has partly confirmed that we could be looking at a tiered pricing that should range between $10 to $15. However, issues like the duration of the subscription and the amount of songs in each “package” are yet to be discussed.

Incidentally, Apple , which has been in the past, blamed for
the arrival of Spotify in the US market is itself looking to enter the subscription based music service industry.Spotify is set to make its official entry in to the US when the first Windows Phone 7 devices start shipping later this year.
