Official Google Voice App Reportedly Approved By Apple; Mozilla Has No Plans To Build Full Firefox Browser For iPhone

Google has however not confirmed the development so far. A company spokesperson told

“We currently offer Google Voice mobile apps for Blackberry and Android, and we offer an HTML5 web app for the iPhone . We have nothing further to announce at this time.”

Meanwhile, Mozilla foundation too has stayed non-committalabout their plans for the iPhone app platform. In a recently published blog post, Mozilla has stated that a full-fledged Firefox browser app for the iPhone may not be coming anytime soon. The company has noted that the team would continue to focus on the

“We are working to bring as much of your Firefox experience as possible to Firefox Home. People have asked about adding more browser-like features to Firefox Home, but there are technical and logistical restrictions that make it difficult, if not impossible, to build the full Firefox browser for the iPhone . We are focused on building Firefox Home as a rich, cloud-based application and making it a valuable product that people will continue to love and use”
