According to Apple ’s website, the fourth generation iPod Touch will be shipped in one week if you order one now.
Folks at 9to5Mac have noticed in the FCC teardown photos that the iPod Touch 4G contains a motor that will allow it to vibrate, which will be useful for the FaceTime feature.
If somebody wants to start a video call with you, you’ll receive an invitation — along with a vibrating alert — on your iPod touch asking you to join. Simply tap Accept, and the video call begins.
If you’ve seen a change in the status of your iPod Touch 4G order or received shipment notifications then please let us know in the comments.
