72% of iPhone 4 users are very satisfied and 21% are somewhat satisfied with the new device. But iPhone 4’s initial satisfaction level is not as impressive as iPhone 3GS’s initial satisfaction level, where 81% of
users were very satisfied and 17% were somewhat satisfied.
Almost half the number of users have reported that iPhone 4’s retina display is their favorite feature.
The other top features were iPhone 4’s 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, its touch screen interface and ease of use.
iPhone 4 users disliked the requirement to use AT&T’s network iPhone exclusivity the most, followed by the coverage and performance of AT&T’s network and iPhone 4’s antenna issue
iPhone 4 users reported less number of dropped calls (5.2%) as compared to iPhone 3GS users (6.3%), which is surprising if you consider the iPhone 4 reception saga.
Only 15% of iPhone 4 users felt that the battery life is too short, this is a major improvement when you compare it with iPhone 3GS users. Back in 2009, the number one dislike among iPhone 3GS users was short battery life
(41%).
Despite the waves of controversy that surrounded the iPhone 4 within days of its launch, the latest Apple release is outperforming almost every other smart phone in the industry in terms of overall customer satisfaction and meeting owners’ expectations.
While one-in-five iPhone 4 owners do say the antenna has caused them problems, by an overwhelming margin they are satisfied with Apple ’s solution.
And in reality, iPhone 4 owners report experiencing fewer dropped calls than do iPhone 3GS owners.
If you’re an iPhone 4 user, we would love to find out if you agree with the results of the survey.
