Zed Sefi, our long time reader (thanks Zed) pointed out that you can also play the playable Doodle on your
as it’s in HTML5.
Marcin Wichary, senior UX designer and developer writes on Google’s blog:
“Google doodler Ryan Germick and I made sure to include PAC-MAN’s original game logic, graphics and sounds, bring back ghosts’ individual personalities, and even recreate original bugs from this 1980’s masterpiece.”
“If you throw in another coin, Ms. PAC-MAN joins the party and you can play together with someone else.”
I’m sure none of you need instructions on how to play it, in case you do:
The player controls Pac-Man through a maze, eating pac-dots. When all dots are eaten, Pac-Man is taken to the next stage. Four monsters (Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde) roam the maze, trying to catch Pac-Man. If a monster touches Pac-Man, a life is lost.
PAC-MAN by tapping on the maze.
To play the game on your iPhone , iPad or iPod Touch, point mobile Safari to
(classic version and not the mobile version), during the next 48 hours and either press the “Insert Coin” button or just wait for a few seconds.
It’s awesome and addictive as ever. So I hope you enjoy playing the game on your iPhone , iPad or iPod Touch.
Thanks a ton Zed for the tip!
