Apple Announces Sale Of One Million iPads

. According to Piper Jaffrey analyst Gene Munster, Apple is expected to have sold close to 300,000 units of iPad 3G through the opening weekend. It may be noted that iPads' Wi-Fi only version too sold approximately the same number of units on launch day in early April. Steve Jobs had revealed during the
media event last month that the company had sold close to 450,000 iPads inside the first week.
and also close to 1.5 million ebooks have been downloaded from the iBookstore so far. It is even more amazing since all of iPad's successes till now has come from the US market as the iPad launch in the non-US market was
following the unexpected high demand in the US. The iPad is expected to go on sale in International markets only by the end of this month, which should make iPad an even bigger success.
