Folks at AppleInsider were the ones who noticed the pricing of the ebooks in the 30-second camera. They report:
“The commercial showed Sen. Edward Kennedy’s “True Compass: A Memoir” for $14.99, the novel “I, Alex Cross” by James Patterson for $12.99, and “Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Journey to Change the World… One Child at a Time” by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin for $7.99.
For comparison, “True Compass” currently sells for $19.25 for the Amazon Kindle, “I, Alex Cross” costs $9.99, and “Three Cups of Tea” costs $7.19.”
TUAW reported about the New York Times button at the bottom, which could give access to New York Times Bestsellers section of the iBooks store.
Folks at 9to5Mac noticed the My Documents button at the top left corner of the Pages iWork Touch app. According to them:
Apple looks to store documents on the iPad in a “My Documents” folder in iWork touch. This was touched on briefly after the launch event but it is interesting that Apple chose this nomenclature. This, perhaps to make it easier on the PC people to understand the storage architecture.”
They also observed something, which could be an IR Remote/Camera. They write:
And finally, for you conspiracy theorist/Art Bell types, we have a smudge/iR sensor/CIA hidden camera three seconds in.
We think it’s a sensor.
