Nokia Files One More Lawsuit – Calls for Ban On Import of iPhone, iPod and MacBook

Apple has infringed and continues to infringe each of the Asserted Patents by engaging in acts constituting infringement under 35 USD § 271, including but not necessarily limited to one or more of making, using, selling and offering to sell, in this District and elsewhere in the United States, and importing into this District and elsewhere in the United States, certain electronic devices, including but not limited to Apple 's
,
,
, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air.”
The list of patents here is not different from the lawsuit filed last week with the ITC. However, Nokia's strategy at this point seems to be in taking on Apple on more than one legal front to see what sticks. As folks at
note, the case with ITC is very crucial for Apple where Nokia has requested for a ban on import of all of Apple 's devices; something that could be disastrous. However, knowing
to an earlier lawsuit filed by Nokia, we expect yet another counter-suit to be filed by Apple this time as well.
