Apple Sold 5.2 Million iPhones in Q3 2009, Can’t Make enough iPhone 3GS to Meet Demand

Sold 5.2 million iPhones in the third quarter and has reported that the response to the
has been so overwhelming that they are unable to make iPhone 3GS to meet demand. Apple is working to address the issue.

iPhone produced $1.689 billion in revenue which is sequentially up 37 percent in units and 11 percent in revenue, but in
year-over-year results was a whopping 626 percent jump in units sold and
303 percent surge in revenue.
